What Do Abnormal Anti-CCP Antibody Levels Mean?

🔴 High Anti-CCP Levels (≥ 40 U/mL) May Indicate:

• Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) – Most common cause
• Other autoimmune diseases (rare cases) – Lupus (SLE), Sjögren’s syndrome
• Some infections or chronic inflammatory conditions

🟢 Low or Negative Anti-CCP Levels (< 20 U/mL):

• Unlikely to have RA (but does not completely rule it out)
• Early RA may still develop later
