The Dengue Profile 1.2 includes:

1. Dengue IgM Antibody Test – Detects recent or active dengue infection.
2. Dengue IgG Antibody Test – Detects past infection or long-term immunity.

1. Dengue IgM Antibody Test

Purpose:

• Identifies recent dengue infection (appears after 5-7 days of fever).
• Useful when NS1 antigen is negative but symptoms persist.
• Remains detectable for up to 3 months.

2. Dengue IgG Antibody Test

Purpose:

✔ Negative – No prior infection with dengue virus.
